Is there a way to make food allergies go away?

Many believe the only way to deal with food allergies is to avoid the offending food(s). Fortunately, a natural, energetic method called NAET can eliminate food allergies for good.

With over 20 million people in the U.S. suffering from food allergies, this is a significant, if not inconvenient, issue for many. Common symptoms of a food allergy include:

  • Tingling or itching in the mouth
  • Hives, itching, or eczema
  • Swelling of the lips, face, tongue, throat, or other parts of the body
  • Belly pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting
  • Wheezing, nasal congestion, or trouble breathing
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting

Food allergies occur when your immune system sends out immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies that react to a food or substance in the food. Symptoms can appear immediately or up to two hours after consumption. The most common food allergens are milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, and sesame. A skin prick test, blood draw, or a food challenge can identify allergies.

Unfortunately, even if you can identify food sensitivities, western medicine does not have a curative treatment method. People are told to avoid the offending foods. This can leave people weary of eating out, and eventually, avoiding foods can feel restrictive and frustrating. Is there another way?

Fortunately, the answer is yes. In 1984, a woman named Dr. Devi Nambrudripad made an accidental discovery. Plagued by food allergies, she found she could only eat broccoli or rice without a reaction. One day, after having a horrible reaction to a carrot, she sought out acupuncture to help with the symptoms. Later, she discovered she could eat carrots without reacting. One can only imagine the trial and error she went through before she founded her allergy elimination protocol called NAET.

A NAET Case Study:

A 33-year-old female presented with symptoms of gas, bloating, eczema, and diarrhea when eating offending foods. She had done allergy testing and identified a long list of food sensitivities. Even after an elimination diet, avoiding all the offending foods, when she added the foods back in, she still experienced symptoms. Her goal was not to have the digestion symptoms and to be able to eat out once a week. She started weekly NAET treatments. After only 8 NAET treatments, she was able to add back offending foods and did not experience diarrhea. After 11 NAET treatments, she was able to eat out once a week and reported she met all of her goals! She came in for an additional six treatments to address some lingering gas symptoms. It’s been almost a year since starting NAET, and she is still happily enjoying her food.

NAET treatments can be performed on adults, children, and even babies. Treatment involves holding small vials energetically imprinted with the offending foods. While the patient has the vial in their hand, the practitioner taps strategic spots on the spine. The patient then holds the vial for 20 minutes and may/may not take acupuncture needles to process the treatment. Patients avoid the treated items for 24 hours. Kinesiology (muscle testing) identifies which food allergies to treat and tests whether the patient passed the previous treatment. For small children, the parent is used as the surrogate muscle tester.

NAET can also successfully treat other types of allergies, including hay fever, animal sensitivities, and chemical allergies. It can also address anaphylactic allergies, such as peanuts.
